Mr. Wood applies his technical expertise in geology and hydrogeology to environmental site assessment, remedial investigation, planning and implementation, risk-based corrective action and site closure strategy, property redevelopment, as well as development and protection of municipal water supply sources. He has provided his expertise to the legal community, industry, and the public sector. Mr. Wood has provided litigation support for commercial, industrial, and public clients with facilities and property impacted with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), chlorinated solvents, and fuel compounds. He also has provided consultation on Potentially Responsible Party (PRP) identification and cost allocation.

His experience in this area provides insight into the issues and associated costs encountered during permitting, construction, handling and disposal of soil and groundwater, design and installation of engineering controls, long-term maintenance, and developing an investment exit strategy that minimizes future liabilities. These relationships and his experience allow him to develop creative strategies for obtaining site closure. Mr. Wood also serves as a subject matter expert to the California Board of Geology and Geophysicists, which issues licenses for professional geologists in the State of California.
