Mr. Warner has more than 19 years of experience in consulting hydrogeology, design/assessment of groundwater remediation strategies, groundwater modeling and water resources. He has provided litigation-support and expert-witness services for cases involving hydrogeochemistry, groundwater remediation, and remediation cost-recovery and has worked on projects in 20 states and 6 countries during his career. Mr. Warner has specific expertise designing and assessing in situ groundwater remediation measures including enhanced bioremediation, permeable reactive barriers, and geochemical manipulation for chlorinated hydrocarbons, petroleum hydrocarbons, metals, and radioactive constituents.
Mr. Warner has prepared more than 25 publications on the subject of groundwater remediation, hydraulics, and geochemistry, in both peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings, and has given more than 50 presentations on these and related subjects. He is co-editor for an Oxford University Press book on DNAPL characterization and remediation and was the co-developer/co-instructor for national and international courses by the Remediation Technology Development Forum, the USEPA and the Interstate Technology Regulatory Council on design and use of permeable reactive barriers. Mr. Warner also is on the Board of Directors for the Bay Planning Coalition, a San Francisco Bay area organization comprised of the maritime industry, shoreline businesses, local governments and ports, recreational users, business and environmental organizations, landowners, and water related companies that advocate balanced use and regulation of the San Francisco Bay and Delta resources.
